Treatment of Extremity Conditions
Have You Hurt:
- hip
- shoulder
- foot
- wrist
- knee
- ankle
- elbow
A Doctor of Chiropractic is trained to evaluate and treat the muscles and joints of the arms and legs. Many people associate Chiropractic with only the spine, when a skilled Chiropractor and Manual therapist has tools to treat symptoms arising within the above joints effectively.
All extremity movements are directed from the spinal cord and nervous system and stabilized by the spine and torso. A delicate balance of stability and mobility is required within each joint, each region and across our entire body. Some joints are better suited for stabilizing such as the knee and elbow. Others favor larger ranges of movements such as the shoulder, hip, wrist, ankle and foot.
